Toy Story 3: The Video Game is a platformer, with players able to play as Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear, or Jessie. Woody can use his whip rope to swing from side to side in certain areas, Buzz can fly with other characters across long distances, and Jessie is the most agile and can balance on small platforms. Certain levels require players to switch between characters in the middle of the stage. There are two menu modes: Story and Toy Box. The Story mode consists of eight levels and follows the events of the movie (including the introduction sequence from Toy Story 2’s game).
